What is Stone Raid?

About Stone RaidStone Raid is an association of musicians, singers, toasters, rappers who come from many places. It started from a group of friends coming from Martinique (aka Madinina)... The group was formed in Montpellier (South of France) in the years 2000. It all started with DizzyDjol (our "maestro beatmaker"), MasterMind and Kharmosa, then came Glassy, Showda and Tidjany. Some, like AmandaJoy, Loey, Iéiazel, Taïme Micky, N.O.A.R., Gladys, Skeenow, Sonic, Izza, Anaïs, Fox G, Calif joined us, the ones for a short period, the others for a longer one. Some just collaborated with us or simply helped us, bringing the "vibes" to us and allowing us to build the heart of Stone Raid. Today, what we have become is a group of friends, or better, a family always enjoying to meet and share the same musical values. In December 2006 Stone Raid made its first mixtape entitled "Stone Radio Ondes Tropicales" containing 28 tracks that you can discover below.
